Frank Ocean Put On Hold New Album ‘Boys Don’t Cry’? Featuring in Kanye’s ‘Wolves’

There's again no good news for Frank Ocean's new album, said to be titled "Boys Don't Cry," as the release date remains unknown for now.

The Grammy winner's debut studio album "Channel Orange" in 2012 received universal acclaim from critics and fans alike. The LP was later named the best album of the year in the HMV's Poll of Polls.

It also earned for Frank Ocean six Grammy Award nominations.

The R&B singer has a massive fan following, and his fans were deeply disappointed about the delay in the release of Frank Ocean's new album, "Boys Don't Cry," since it's been four years running when he last dropped an LP.

Fans have been taking to social media to pressure, cajole and plead to Frank Ocean to finally release a follow-up to "Channel Orange."

Even multiple Grammy winner Adele voiced out the frustration when he said in an interview with Rolling Stone, "I'm just f**king waiting for Frank f**king Ocean to come out with his album."

She added, "It's taking so f**king long."

But fans waiting for Frank Ocean's new album can take solace in the fact that he is collaborating with Kanye West for the track, "Wolves."

Kanye West's song "Wolves" was released last year but the new version features Frank Ocean instead of Vic Mensa and Sia, a report by Radio revealed. West updated it on Twitter as he said that he's going to "fix" the song.

However, that didn't seem to appease fans and as Frank Ocean's new album, "Boys Don't Cry"is one out of 23 most anticipated album of 2016, according to Music Times.

"Fans have been waiting on this album to give them the soothing r&b they have been yearning for since 2012's Channel Orange," it said. "His brother rickrolled almost the entire internet [by] claiming to release the album at the end of July."
