'Game Of Thrones' Star Sophie Turner Teases Spoilers; Season 6 To Feature Twisted 'Character Development'

"Game of Thrones," arguably the most popular fantasy epic show in the world, is preparing to make its grand comeback for the sixth year this April.

With excitement soaring high amongst fans, Sophie Turner, one of the show's most prominent characters have decided to reveal a thing or two about the forthcoming season 6.

Nonetheless, coming to spoilers (well, not spoilers exactly), Sophie Turner who plays Sansa Stark in the show has gone on record saying that the forthcoming season will be full of shocks and awes for the unsuspecting fans.

"This season there's like so many shocks, it's massive," Turner told the Entertainment Weekly. "It's the biggest season yet. And just like in terms of character development, so many people's storylines, I'm excited for. It's going to be good."

In a way, if the flame-haired actress probably wants fans to brace them for grossly unpredictable plot twists that could put even the infamous Red Wedding and the supposed death of Jon Snow to shame.

Speaking of the future of her onscreen character, Turner gamely revealed details.

"I mean this season is a really, really big one for Sansa... It's probably her best season yet," Sophie Turner teased. "It's her really coming into her own. She, this season, really commands the respect that she deserves and she grabs hold of it and she runs with it and it's really good."

Adding more scopes for further rumors and speculations, Sophie Turner also said that fans are about to get exactly what they had been craving for in the storyline through the first five seasons.

For the uninitiated, "Game of Thrones' season 6 is reportedly going to be the first time when the narrative of the "Game of Thrones" TV show won't be guided by the books of George R.R. Martin.

"Game of Thrones" season 6 will premiere on April 24, 2016.
