Martin Shkreli Want's To Buy Kanye West's New Album; Gets Scammed For $15 Million In Bitcoins Instead

Pharmaceutical boss and rap music investor Martin Shkreli claims that he has lost $15 million worth of Bitcoins over an early purchase of Kanye West's new album.

Last year, Shkreli bought Wu-Tang Clan's "Once Upon A Time In Shaolin" for $ 2 million.

However, one of the rap group's founding members, Ghostface Killer, wasn't too fond of the pharmaceutical trader and called him "a fake a** super-villain."

This year, before Kanye West finally dropped his new album "The Life of Pablo," Shkreli offered the "Love Lockdown" rapper $10 million to sell it to him exclusively, boasting that the artist couldn't launch the record without taking his offer to lawyers.

West released "Life of Pablo" on Jay Z's subscription-based music streaming service TIDAL to everyone's delight, except Martin, who thought that he was purchasing the new album from one of West's associates.

According to Independent, a person named Daquan claiming to be part of Kanye West's entourage promised him an early release of "The Life of Pablo" for the price of 37,000 Bitcoin.

Voicing out his frustrations on Twitter, Shkreli claims that he has "quit rap," stating that "This is the worst day of my life. My mom said don't deal with these kinds of people. Nothing good comes from rap music."

Shkreli claims that he has gotten in touch with Bitcoin's creator to help him get his money back.

The news comes after Kanye West's announcement of having a personal debt of $53 million.

The rapper has asked Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg to invest $1 billion dollars for "Kanye West ideas."
