‘Grey's Anatomy’ Season 12 Spoilers: Meredith’s Person To The Rescue? Cristina Back For Good?

Spoilers to season 12 of "Grey's Anatomy" indicated that Sandra Oh may return to the show sooner than expected, according to various reports.

An Inquisitr article updated its prediction last year that Sandra Oh, who plays a brilliant cardiovascular surgeon on the Emmy award-winning show, would likely make a comeback.

"Cristina is Meredith's person, and now that the death of Dr. Derek Shepherd has left Dr. Meredith Grey a widow, Cristina is needed now more than ever," the site said.

The Hollywood Reporter  earlier interviewed Sandra Oh and asked about her possible return to the cast of "Grey's Anatomy."

"There's no way that no one could keep me away from that," the actress reportedly said.

The Inquisitr, meanwhile, flirted with their own spoilers claiming that the titular Meredith Grey could die during season 12, which would prompt the return of Cristina Yang to "Grey's Anatomy."

"Rhimes has been quoted as saying that the show is entering uncharted territory, perhaps meaning that the idea that a show would have to kill off its title character would be unknown for primetime television," the site said.

With the death of Patrick Dempsey's Derek Shephard in the previous season of "Grey's Anatomy," the possibility of Cristina returning to season 12 has amped up, spoilers from the site also revealed.

Jerrika Hinton, who plays one of the interns-turned-residents at the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, revealed some spoilers of her own regarding the intensity of the events this season.

"Some stuff that in a way makes it feel like, 'Whoa! We're doing this in the middle of the season? This feels like finale stuff.' At the table read, we were all like, 'What?!'" she was quoted as saying.

Another likely angle, according to Design N Trend, is Cristina's involvement in the feud between her ex, Owen, and Grey-Sloan newbie Nathan.

The article suggested that Cristina could be the key to solving the feud, as she may be the only person who knows about Owen's sister, who was possibly once married to Nathan.
