Tori Spelling And Husband Still Splurging Amid Money Woes? Photos Reveal Couple’s Expensive Purchases
Tori Spelling and her husband seem to still be splurging amid their reported financial woes. A report from Radar Online revealed the couple's recent expensive purchase, just as the former "Beverly Hills 90210" star is facing a lawsuit over her unpaid credit card bills.
The controversial couple was spotted at a kitchen remodeling store in Los Angeles last week. Aside from being questioned as to why they would remodel their house amid Tori Spelling's ongoing debt case, Dean McDermott's accessory also caught the attention of paparazzi.
The former "Chopped: Canada" host was photographed carrying a Goyard Chevron Boeing 55 Travel Bag. The luxury carry-on is not even available for sale online, although similar bags listed on eBay sell for more than $4,000.
Some speculate that the extravagant lifestyle of Tori Spelling and her husband is what led to her credit issues with American Express. Earlier this year, People reported about how credit card giant sued the former teen star for owing up to $37,981.97 since summer of 2015.
According to legal documents secured by the media site, the mother-of-four's last credit card activity was on June 26, when she supposedly tried to use her American Express card to make a $1,070 payment. However, the transaction failed to complete because of her unpaid bills.
The 42-year-old actress' last payment was due way back Aug. 18, with a minimum amount of $1,477 owed on top of the past due amount worth $1,070.
An insider revealed that Tori Spelling's husband has been trying to make her live within her means so as to avoid getting caught up in debt.
However, the daughter of late Hollywood producer Aaron Spelling supposedly did not agree with Dean McDermott's instructions to live a simpler lifestyle.
"Tori just thinks she is one job away from being wealthy," an insider said. "She just refuses to accept how bleak things really are."
