Christina Milian Calling Lil Wayne A ‘Liar’? Diva’s New Video About Their Failed Relationship?
Christina Milian is seemingly addressing Lil Wayne in her latest single. The R&B diva just released the music video for her song "Liar," which many speculate is about her failed relationship with the "Lollipop" rapper.
The sexy music video for "Liar" debuted on Billboard last Feb. 12, which showed the 34-year-old songstress stripped down while singing emotionally about someone who repeatedly cheated on her.
"Back and forth with my conscience," she sings. "Back and forth with that bullshit / Back and forth with your nonsense / I keep saying I'ma leave you."
"Liar" was also released in the Vevo channel of Christina Milian, with Lil Wayne repeatedly mentioned in the video's comments section.
"Wayne's a dumbass," one fan wrote. "This is about him, unfortunately."
"She [should] have texted Wayne all this," another person commented.
However, some also pointed out how Christina Milian knew that Lil Wayne has always been a notorious womanizer.
"If anything, she would have to be the dumbass because she knew exactly what she was getting into," one commenter posted.
The music video for "Liar" was released after the singer-actress' controversial statements during a podcast guesting for "Allegedly with Theo Von & Matthew Cole Weiss."
All Hiphop reported about the interview, where Christina Milian was asked if Lil Wayne is the type of man who would ever settle down with a wife.
"Part of me believed it and thought that it was possible, just by the person that I had," she admitted. "But I think honestly for what I want in my life...I don't know, he'd have to find someone that would like that."
Christina Milian then went on to say that the "Young Money" hip-hop star does not seem like the type of man who is not meant to be monogamous.
"He might have to have multiple wives," she said. "I don't [even] know if he'll ever have a wife, [because] he's got women everywhere. They love him."
Earlier this year, Hollywood Life reported about the breakup of Christina Milian and Lil Wayne on her reality show, "Christina Milian Turned Up."
"There comes a time when you have to open your eyes and say, 'I don't have time for games, I don't have time for games,'" she said. "I don't like the idea of being single again, but I can't do this anymore. We're done."
