New York Knicks' Carmelo Anthony named in another NBA trade rumor

The biggest NBA trade rumors in the past 48 hours is a big one.

Reports have it that Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers and New York Knicks already made preliminary discussions to swap Kevin Love, Carmelo Anthony and several other players.

The Knicks star will have none of this recent NBA trade rumor involving his name for the nth time. He insisted that he is not leaving Madison Square Garden and the only reason he is in such discussion is the fact that he is with New York.

"When you're in New York, you're always up for grabs, I'll tell you that," Anthony said laughing in an interview with ESPN's Ian Begley. "Trades are always up for grabs. It's always, 'Who's next?' There's nothing guaranteed when you're in New York. But I don't pay attention to those rumors."

He also said that he badly wants a championship but that it does not necessarily mean that he is leaving his current team.

"I want to win a championship," he said. "At this point in my career, that's the only thing that I really care about. But I'm not, I mean, there's nothing out there for me right now. ... I'm not even entertaining no trade talk right now."

The NBA trade rumor involving Anthony and Love first surfaced when New York Daily News writer Frank Isola said "massive" deal might go down.

"The Daily News has learned that the Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers have discussed a blockbuster trade centered around Kevin Love," he wrote. "There were very preliminary discussions with the Knicks about expanding the deal to include Anthony, who would have to waive his no-trade clause in order to facilitate a deal to the Cavs."

Anthony, who will grace the NBA All-Star 2016 in Toronto together with Cavs' Lebron James, hasn't won a championship ring since being drafted by Denver Nuggets in 2003.

He arrived in the Big Apple in 2011 for a lucrative deal but his stay there hasn't brought him any far.

He is the only player from the top five in 2003 NBA draft who hasn't won a ring.
