Kanye West Avoids Kim Kardashian's Ex-Husband Kris Humpries Amidst Divorce Rumors

Kanye West nearly runs into his wife Kim Kardashian's ex-husband Kris Humphries in New York while divorce rumors become rampant.

According to Daily Mail, the "Heartless" rapper, who was attending his sisters-in-law Kendall and Kylie Jenner's fashion launch, nearly missed the basketball star as they were both reported to be only a few streets apart in SoHo.

Kris Humphries was in town to join his team the Washington Wizards play a game against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

Kim Kardashian wed the NBA star in August 2011 after just 10 months of dating. Their marriage fell apart 72 days after tying the knot. Kanye, who was good friends with Humphries back then, didn't attend the ceremony.

Within a couple of months, the socialite began dating the rapper in secret. They publicly came out in April 2012, and later announced that they were having a baby in December that year.

The Kardashian was still legally married to Kris Humphries while she was pregnant. The athlete granted her a divorce in June 2013, just 12 days before North West was born.

Kanye hasn't spoken to his old pal since. In fact, he even called out the athlete in his 2012 track "cold," who was then playing for the Brooklyn Nets.

"Lucky I ain't had Jay drop him from the team," referring to Jay Z, who co-owned the Brooklyn Nets which was the team Humphries was playing for at that time.

The near run-in comes after recent divorce rumors surrounding the A-list couple. Earlier this month, it was reported that Kim got angry at her husband for throwing shade at her friend, talk show host Wendy Williams. 

"Kim thinks that Kanye was completely out of line by bashing Wendy," a source told Radar Online. "It really pissed Kim off because she is a friend of Wendy's and thinks she's great."

As per the publication, Kim Kardashian reportedly sent Kanye West packing after his Twitter bash and is even rumored to be "considering divorce."
