Fifth Harmony's girl Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes stole hearts at 2016 People's Choice Award as the cute couple performed their co-written song, "I Know What You Did Last Summer," at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

After their sizzling performance, the buzz surrounding the two immediately got fans and the tabloids thinking: Are Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes dating?

Reportedly, the couple started flirting with each other in September last year and their relationship only grew stronger when they did a tour together.

When Camila has been asked about possibly dating Shawn Mendes or any other man in her life, she said, "I love that nobody knows who this song is about and I don't have to get asked about this guy in interviews," she told Teen Vogue.

The Cuban-American singer was referring to "I Know What You Did Last Summer," the hit track she co-wrote with the Canadian hitmaker.

"After that, I dated other people that nobody even knows I ever hung out with, because I didn't want there to be any tweets or selfies or pictures of us holding hands because I wanted it to be just mine and that person's." she added.

Camila Cabello also said that if she's dating anybody, without really naming Shawn Mendes, she wants to keep everything under wraps as she learned her lessons from the high-profile relationship with Austin Mahone.

The duo seems pretty comfortable with each other, which make them more endearing to fans.

Fifth Harmony's star Camila Cabello also spilled details regarding the split of band.

She told to Entertainment Online, "Obviously any band, any group, someday is not going to be together anymore."

"We are coming with new music from Fifth Harmony ladies in 2016," Cabello confirm to ET.

However, while Camila Cabello was upfront with the Fifth Harmony, she was coy about the rumors regarding dating Shawn Mendes.
