New Album Of Paramore To Drop This Year? Ex-Guitarist Josh Farro Debuts Solo Record
Fans of the Tennessee-based rock band Paramore were all elated after news broke out that the band is finally writing a new album to follow up their 2013 record "The Holiday Sessions."
Moreover, recent news also revealed that ex-Paramore guitarist Josh Farro has released his own solo record this year.
It was reported by Billboard that iconic female-vocalist Hayley Williams of Paramore has indeed confirmed that the band is currently writing a new album after a fan went on to Twitter asking her about it.
In addition, the source noted that the revelation of a new album by Paramore started with the frontwoman tweeting several publications and thanking them for the praises the band has received from their articles the past few weeks, despite their recent struggle after bassist Jeremy Davis left the group back in December 2015.
Meanwhile, it was reported as well that former Paramore guitarist Josh Farro has released his solo record this year.
It was unveiled back in Feb. 4 that Josh Farro, who goes by as recording as Farro, has presented his debut solo album "Walkways" a day in advance of its supposed Feb. 5 release date, Billboard claimed.
The source noted that Farro's debut solo record represents the musical journey that the artist has taken over the past year.
"It's been a long time coming, but the day is finally here," Farro said in an interview. "'Walkways' is a great representation of the musical journey I've been on over the last year."
Josh Farro went on further to tell the source how he worked with producer Jacquire King when he made his debut solo album "Walkways."
"I started to do the album with an engineer friend of mine, but I really wanted to do it with a producer," he said. "I was randomly introduced to Jacquire King. He was onboard, and next thing you know, we're doing pre-production in 2014..."
"I signed on with new management and once I had the album done with Jacquire, we started strategizing. We decided it was missing a few strong -- I guess you could call them singles. I started writing again and I was really pleased with what I came up with."
