Fans and mixed martial arts aficionados alike are on the edge of their seats as they wait for the impending arrival of "UFC 2" with a PS4 release date set in March.

Even more, EA Access subscribers were reported to have an earlier access to the game, according to sources.

It was reported that EA Access subscribers will be able to get a head start in accessing the widely anticipated fight simulation video game "UFC 2" one week before its intended release date on different platforms such as the PS4 and Xbox One, iDigital Times claimed.

The source further noted that EA Access subscribers will be able to grab hold of the game beginning March 10, which is less than a week before "UFC 2" hits the retail stores worldwide as per its March 17 release date on the PS4.

Moreover, it was specifically pointed out by VG 24/7 that Electronic Arts' EA Access subscription service is available only on Xbox One, exclusively, where fans get to play their titles five days earlier.

Meanwhile, fans who are thinking of pre-ordering the game will be rewarded with two playable legendary MMA fighters as stated by "UFC 2" creative director Brian Hayes, MMA Junkie reported.

"Whether fans want to play upcoming cards, recreate the outcome of recent fights, or go back to fight with MMA legends, we'll help them do that in the most authentic and exciting way ever in an MMA simulation," Creative Director Brian Hayes said during an interview.

"Our first two pre-order fighters, Bas Rutten and Kazushi Sakuraba are perfect additions to what is already the biggest roster ever for an official UFC game. Adding them is huge, and fans are going to go nuts when we reveal who the mystery fighter is. I can't wait."
