‘Rocket League’ Xbox One Bundled With Three Free DLCs For $19.99; Release Date On Feb. 17!
Psyonix, the developer of "Rocket League," finally announced that the game is hitting the Xbox One console on Feb. 17.
Even though it was a long wait for Xbox One players to own the game, they were treated with exclusive "Rocket League" contents and features.
Per Xbox Wire blogpost, the game, which is priced at just $19.99, is bundled with three free dlcs that are sold being separately on PC and PS4.
These free contents include, "Super Sonic Fury Pack" that features two high-end cars for battle, 12 decals, 5 paint types, 2 rocket trails and 2 wheels; "Revenge of the Battle Cars Pack" with two premium battle cars, 12 decals, 3 paint types, 2 rocket trails, 2 wheels, 4 toppers and 2 antennas; and "Chaos Run Pack" that comes with 2 more cars, 12 decals, 2 wheels, 2 rocket trails, 3 toppers and 3 antennas, Tech Times reported.
In addition, Xbox One players of "Rocket League" will also get two free cars exclusive to Xbox One version, the Armadillo and Warthog.
The Armadillo is inspired from Microsoft's third-person shooter game "Gears of War," while the Warthog is a "Halo" themed vehicle.
Aside from these, "Rocket League" players are up for "smaller exclusive items" based on Xbox One titles.
Gotta Be Mobile stated that "Overcharge Rocket Trail" and "Fizzie" antenna ornament are from "Sunset Overdrive."
The Xbox One version will also feature modes from the PS4 and PC like the built-in season mode that can be played offline.
In addition, it supports multiplayer mode with 2 to 8 players in total along with the "Snow Day Hockey" mode.
Meanwhile, the Redmond tech giant is yet to reveal whether players will gain access to Psyonix's special playlist of its testing ideas, Gotta Be Mobile said.
"Besides the exclusive stuff, you can also expect an incredible amount of content in Rocket League on the whole - with more than 100 billion possible customization combinations for your Battle-Car, a fully-featured offline Season Mode, multiple game configurations including 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, and 4v4 match-ups for offline, online, and competitive play, and special match Mutators that let you change the rules of the game," Microsoft wrote on Xbox Wire .
