Jimmy Fallon has maintained a tradition of predicting "The Super Bowl" winner on "The Tonight Show" using a squad of cute puppies.

This year was no exemption as his puppy pundits were put to work to foresee which team would win, the Denver Broncos or the Carolina Panthers.

Fallon's skits have become one of the biggest assets on "The Tonight Show," and one of the most lovable skits involved the puppies.

For one, Jimmy Fallon's puppies are one of the most unbiased in terms of which team they will pick to win the Super Bowl. The pooches have their own way of choosing the winner.

The history of predictions made by the puppies on Jimmy Fallon's show revealed that they may not be perfect but they don't have a bad track record either, Bleacher Report said.

This year, Jimmy Fallon placed two bowls of dog food at the far end of a ramp labeled as Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers. The puppies came running on the ramp and most of them piled over the Broncos bowl.

Eventually, Fallon declared a landslide victory for the AFC champs, as reported by EW.

Jimmy Fallon may have declared the winners as Broncos, but it was much more fun watching the puppies bundling over or squeezing each other, said USA Today.

The hashtag #SuperBowlRaps on Twitter was another attraction ahead of the Super Bowl game on Sunday. Fallon encouraged viewers to pen down and send their Super Bowl-based rap lyrics, to be read on the show.

The picked lyrics were to be performed by Fallon's in-house band "The Roots."

While some of the rapping viewers made use of rhyming words like "panther" and "anther," others wrote Drake-based lyrics.

"Who's gonna win? A Bronco or a Panther? / Don't ask me, I don't know the anther," sent one viewer, as reported by Inquisitr.

"I know when that doorbell rings, it'll be the chicken wings / I know when that doorbell rings, it'll be the chicken wings."
