The trailer for the movie "Independence Day: Resurgence" was released at the recently Super Bowl opening. The teaser also hinted that Middle East was part of the film.

The trailer suggested that the aliens have sent distressed signals before they were destroyed, as they are coming back with revenge at the sequel.

The "Independence Day: Resurgence" trailer started off with the celebration on the 4th of July where the "Star Spangled Banner" was being sang when the aliens shocked the crowd with its attack, Highsnobiety said in a report.

Shown in the "Independence Day: Resurgence" trailer in Super Bowl was Liam Hemsworth, who will be joining the old cast.

Will Smith, who led the cast in the original movie, was not part of the sequel as well as Jaden and Willow Smith.

Meanwhile, the movie hinted that a part of Middle East was destroyed when tallest building Burj Khalifa was seen soaring from the top until it plunges to London.

"We're going to assume these aliens mean business, as picking up the Burj Khalifa like a giant metal lollipop stick and hurling it halfway around the world into the River Thames means these guys must be packing some serious gadgets," a report from Whats On noted.

The 56-second clip even showed Singapore rose out of the sea.

This sight was expected as the "Independence Day" has always shown explosions and massive destruction on renowned places.

The 1996 "Independence Day" movie can be recalled featuring the destroy of key cities Washington, New York, and Los Angeles when aliens blasted the areas. The White House was also shown to have been exploded following a massive alien attack.

"Independence Day: Resurgence" is set to hit the big screen in United States on June 4.

The sequel is also a reunion for Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, Judd Hirsch, Vivica A Fox and Brent Spiner. They will be joined by new cast members Liam Hemsworth and Maika Monroe.
