Will Cote de Pablo's Ziva be among the cast members who will be joining "NCIS" season 13?

While it has already been known that the actress' love interest in the CBS drama series, Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly), will already bid farewell after being part of "NCIS" for 13 years, many followers have been wondering if the 36-year-old Chilean-American star is joining him prior to his exit.

In its report, TV Insider revealed that the announcement of introducing additional roles in the show was personally made by CBS entertainment president Glenn Geller during the Television Critics Association press tour in January.

It was learned that despite the fact that "Geller confirmed that the network and producers are in talks to possibly introduce new characters," the return of Cote de Pablo's Ziva in "NCIS" season 13 is not among the expected events.

The outlet noted that "there are 'not currently' any plans for that character to return to bid DiNozzo farewell."

As for the new characters, it was pointed out that the decision was "not a direct replacement of Tony DiNozzo, but we are looking at a couple of additions this season."

On the other hand, Design & Trend shared in its "NCIS" season 13 spoilers that on Feb. 16, during the airing of episode 15, Secretary of the Navy Sarah Porter (Leslie Hope) "will learn that her daughter has been kidnapped."

In the said episode of "NCIS" season 13, which may no longer see the return of Cote de Pablo's Ziva, exciting scenes are about to unfold as the "distressed mother" asked the assistance of the FBI and NCIS to find her daughter.

"Fortunately, both teams are determined to find a motive and bring the Navy Secretary's daughter home before she is grievously injured by her kidnappers," the report added in its "NCIS" season 13 spoilers.
