Captain America: Civil War Trailer 2 Released For Super Bowl; New Storyline Presented?
Super Bowl Sunday saw a lot of entertaining performances and TV spots. But the one thing "Avengers" fans might have been waiting for was the release of trailer 2 for "Captain America: Civil War."
If in the "Avengers" movies, Captain America and Iron Man were on the same side, the new "Civil War" clip on Super Bowl Sunday showed the audience otherwise.
The video shows Captain America leading a new team of Avengers as a new government regulation forces superheroes to register, following a catastrophic incident.
This is where the conflict between him and Iron Man arises. The former wants to protect humanity without government interference while the latter wants government support and accountability, E Online reported.
In the "Captain America: Civil War" trailer 2 release, the "Avengers" are divided between two sides - Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), Falcon (Anthony Jackie), Agent 13 (Emily Van Camp) and Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) are on Team Captain America.
Meanwhile, Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Vision (Paul Bettany), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and War Machine (Don Cheadle) are on Team Iron Man.
Following the release on Super Bowl Sunday, fans took to Twitter to express their excitement.
"I am not emotionally prepared for #CaptainAmericaCivilWar," a Twitter user said.
"I physically cannot get enough of the new #CaptainAmericaCivilWar trailer!!!" another fan tweeted.
"How am i supposed to focus on my homework rn #CaptainAmericaCivilWar," another user wrote.
"Cops: This the police Me: My parents are fighting. Cops: Where are they? Me: *Hands phone playing #CaptainAmericaCivilWar teaser," a Twitter user joked.
