Deftones New Album ‘Gore’ Finally Available For Pre-Order; “Prayers/ Triangles” As First Single

Fans ought to make room for their playlists as the word just got out that Deftones has their new album "Gore" already available for pre-order and have recently unveiled their first single to kick-off their latest record.

It was recently reported by Pitch Fork that the acclaimed Sacramento-based rock band Deftones has recently announced their new album "Gore" after releasing their first single "Prayers/ Triangles" over radio airwaves.

The source also noted that the band's latest record is available for pre-order over at their official website.

It was also revealed by the source how Deftones lead singer Chino Moreno humorously described their new album "Gore," as they made reference to one of Kanye West's intriguing statements about the latter's own record as being the "album of the life."

"Out of respect for Pac, Big, Stevie, Michael, Hendrix, 'Gore' is ONE of the greatest albums note the greatest, just one of," Moreno kiddingly stated during a press release.

Moreover, it was also reported that Deftones has already announced that their eighth studio album will be available on April 8, 2016 via Loudwire.

The source also pointed out that in terms of the band's new album being available for pre-order, fans that do purchase "Gore" in advance will be eligible to get an instant download of their latest single, "Prayer/ Triangles."

In addition, it was also detailed that a double-vinyl LP of the album will also be available for pre-order with limited copies of up to 3,500 units worldwide.

Meanwhile, Chino Moreno discussed their latest single of their new album by stating that "Prayers/ Triangles" was in keeping with the classic musical style of Deftones.

"It's just one of those songs that's very 'DEFTONES-esque,' where that dynamic is there as far as that ebb and flow... that dichotomy is what makes us who were are in a way," the acclaimed lead singer told Blabbermouth.

"It's sort of our DNA. So I feel like it's a good representation of where we're at right now and where we've been in the past as well."
