'Better Call Saul' Season 2 Spoilers And Premiere Date On Netflix: Ed Begley Joins The Cast

"Better Call Saul" will be coming back with season 2 and a new character will be added to the show. The enthusiastic followers of the hit AMC drama series have been waiting for more news and updates about the show after the trailer has been released.

According to new reports, another character will be added to "Better Call Saul" named Clifford which will be played by Ed Begley Jr.

The "Living With Ed" actor is confirmed to be joining the drama series to play as an "authority figure who has the power to make many of Jimmy's dreams come true, if Jimmy can only play ball," Peter Gould the co-creator of "Better Call Saul" told EW in an interview.

"When you first meet him, he is highly avuncular and somebody whom you'd like to spend time with and is a very sweet guy. But you wouldn't want to cross him, let's put it that way," he added.

Meanwhile, International Business Times has recently revealed the official synopsis of the first episode of "Better Call Saul" season 2.

"Jimmy and Kim's relationship takes a new turn. Mike decides it's for the best to sever his affiliation with an unrestrained associate," IB Times quoted.

Gould also revealed that Jimmy, played by Bob Odenkirk, will not be revealed right away. His epiphany will not be leading into instant results and that there is a great process into it before he turns into Saul Goodman.

"It's not an instantaneous light switch that turns him into Saul Goodman." Instead, Jimmy will use his skills as a natural-born problem solver to get some new faces out of sticky situations, but he'll also get in some 'me' time," Gould said. "There's a certain amount of liquor and crab dip involved."

Reports revealed that Jimmy's choices will be leading to frictions in his relationship with Chuck and Kim.

"Jimmy and Chuck's relationship moves into a very different area this season. There's enormous pain and hurt from Jimmy, but there's also a connection between these two guys," Gould added.

"Better Call Saul" season 2 will be premiering on February 15 on AMC.
