The budding romance of "The Voice" coaches Blake Shelton and girlfriend Gwen Stefani seems to facing a hurdle. The "Used to Love You" singer's estranged husband, Gavin Rossdale, is reportedly trying to tear the couple apart by delaying the divorce proceedings.

According to sources, Shelton and Stefani are going strong but the delay in her divorce is allegedly making it difficult for the couple to move forward.

"[They are] desperately in love...and [they want] to start a new life with him, but she can't until the divorce is final," said a source, as reported by Inquisitr. "This has turned into an all-out war with Gwen's ex."

While Gwen Stefani is comfortably flaunting that she is now Blake Shelton's girlfriend, her ex continues to don his wedding ring. The act has allegedly infuriated the former lead of No Doubt.

"Gwen thinks he's taunting her," said a source, as reported by International Business Times. "It's really screwing with her. Blake loves Gwen more than anything and he's very protective. He hates that Gavin gets under her skin."

"Some guys would run the other way in this kind of situation. But seeing how it was getting to her, he recently made a surprising decision - to marry Gwen come hell or high water," the source added.

Rossdale and Stefani have reportedly been attending courtroom proceedings to finalize their divorce. Amid all that, rumors claim that Rossdale is jealous of her estranged wife's relationship with Shelton.
