The buzz about the 4-inch iPhone is growing louder every day.

It seems quite likely now that the iPhone 5se is really happening pretty soon.

In fact, judging by all the rumors and speculations in the tech sphere, it is highly probably that Apple plans to introduce the device on March 15 along with the much awaited iPad Air 3.

There is some confusion over the moniker though with different sources pointing toward different directions. However, as of now, iPhone 5se seems more probable than the alternatives.

As such, speculations and reports about iPhone 5se's specifications became rampant.

The device, according to a report by Japanese tech portal Mac Otakara, will come in three color options, Space Gray, Silver and Pink.

Citing unnamed third-party accessory manufacturer for Apple, the report said that the tone of the pink variant will definitely be a lot different from that of the rose gold variants of the sixth-generation iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus.

In fact, it's been said that it could be somewhat similar to the tone of the pink sixth-generation iPod Touch and seventh-generation iPod nano.

The production of the iPhone 5se is reportedly under progress. Details are still scarce, but it is generally believed that the device boasts a metal design akin to the iPhone 6S.

Possible iPhone 5se specifications could also include A-series processor (either A8 or A9) as well as NFC support for Apple Pay.

As of now, it's incredibly tough to predict the possible price of the iPhone 5se.

However, Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst at KGI Securities, believes that the device could be priced at somewhere between $400 and $500.

While such predictions should ideally be taken with a grain of salt, Kuo has a rather impressive track record of providing insightful info on unreleased Apple devices.
