Xaviant finally released a trailer of "The Culling," and players who are no fan of a gore-filled video game wouldn't like it.

The "The Culling" is touted as the "The Hunger Games" on a video game due to its killing to survive type of gameplay.

According to the Digital Spy, the upcoming Steam exclusive title is based on a survival-combat arena with 16 players.

The players will be battling in an organic arena wherein they scavenge for weapons, explore, craft their traps and also kill one another. The battle usually lasts about 20 minutes.

"As a contestant in the deadly game of The Culling, you must explore, scavenge items, craft weapons, and build traps that will enable you to slay your fellow contestants and emerge victorious before the end of the round," the game's description reads, according to Video Gamer.

"Only with cunning, skill, and a little luck will you be able to prevail and survive the match."

The game is basically focused on to "kill or be killed." Weapons to kill opponents will be available throughout the arena such as a trusty chainsaw, bows and arrows for assaults in long distances, and various types of knives. In addition, players may also use bare hands to clobber opponents to death, Ecumenical News reported.

At the end of the "Royale Battle" like game, players will receive "cosmetic items" that can traded on the Steam Market as the video game developer said, "no contestant leaves a match of 'The Culling' empty-handed," PC Gamer noted.

According to Xaviant per the Video Gamer, "The Culling" is "the first stand-alone entry in the battle royale genre" and it aims to be on top of its genre and grow into a popular e-sport.

"The Culling" video game will be available for an early access on Steam beginning March 8, while its full version will be released some time in 2017. Stay tuned for more updates from the game's official website
