Jennifer Lawrence And Anne Hathaway Ends Feud? Duo To Star In 'Valley of the Dolls' Remake?

The alleged feud between Jennifer Lawrence and Anne Hathaway has been reported to have ended.

After the "Les Miserables" actress took to Facebook recently to defend the "Hunger Games" star over an issue involving a foreign press reporter who was reportedly being rude to her, new reports now claim that the Oscar-winning stars will be on the "Valley of the Dolls" film remake.

To add to that, Madonna and Emily Rossum will allegedly be joining the two in the said reboot.

In a report by Perez Hilton it was stated that Madonna is set to play the character of Helen Lawson, which was originally played by Susan Hayward, while J.Law is allegedly playing the role of Jennifer North. As to Hathaway and Rossum, they will be portraying the roles of Parkin and Duke, allegedly.

The website added that a director is yet to be named for "The Valley of the Dolls" remake but it is currently being written by Paul Rudnick ("The First Wive's Club).

Following the previous report of them sharing a feud, it can be remembered that a few weeks ago, Anne Hathaway defended Jennifer Lawrence after the latter was criticized for scolding a rude reporter who was looking at his phone while asking her a question.

"It's become pretty clear that the Jennifer Lawrence 'scolding' was taken out of context and that she was dryly joking with a journalist who was indeed using his phone to take photos of her," the "Les Miserables" actress wrote on Facebook.

Hathaway, who has been a victim of public criticism herself (dubbed as "Hatha-hate"), pointed out the media's habit of tearing women down in their reportage.

"Let's not continue the sad but common practice of building people - especially women - up just to viciously tear them down when we perceive them to have misstepped," the Oscar-winning actress said.

Since the new reports of the alleged casting came out, feud reports about Jennifer Lawrence and Anne Hathaway have weaned down.
