'Fall Out 4' Patch 1.3 Goes Live On PC; New Update Plagued With Several Issues

"Fall Out 4" patch 1.3 is already live for PC followed by PS4 and Xbox One update later this week.

The new update features specific line up for PC with improvement on ambient occlusion, and fixes on gameplay, quest and Workshop mode, Product Reviews reported.

According to "Fall Out 4" patch 1.3 notes, the update brings occlusion ambient new HBAO+ setting and debris effect on PCs with NVIDIA cards. It also has the ability to rotate an object through the left/right triggers and pressing down on left thumbstick allows players to switch the rotating axis

"In the screenshot below, note the deeper, richer shadowing around every window and building edge; the prominent and realistic shadowing around vehicles; the shadowing that enables you to discern tufts of grass and smaller pieces of foliage; the new shadowing on building interiors; the shadows in the crater that enable you to see the different height and depth of terrain features; and the screen-wide ambient occlusion shadows that are visible even in the very back of the scene, most visibly under the highway," Bethesda described the new update accompanied by a screenshot, Gotta Be Mobile reported.

It was also noted that "ESDF" keys were improved for remapping support while in Workshop mode.

In addition, the update also brings improved general memory and stability, and performance when looking through a scope.

As for the bug fixes, Tech Times reported that all the issues from the previous patch has been addressed. See full patch on Bethesda's official blog.

However, these changes specifically on PC are plagued with new issues as players have started reporting problems after installing "Fall Out" patch 1.3 update.

Redditors' "Fall Out 4" forums revealed that players encountered problems with texture, run time errors, loading screen issues, crashes, and bugs. Xbox One and PS4 are expected to deal with the same issues as well, according to Gotta Be Mobile.
