Tom Cruise And Katie Holmes' Marriage Secrets To Be Revealed In 'The Arrangement' Mini-Series?
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were bombarded will all kinds of rumors and conspiracy theories during the time that they were married.
Is there any truth to the supposed contract marriage of the former couple?
According to Vanity Fair, a new mini-series from E! will be based heavily on the conspiracy behind the A-list couple's entire marriage.
The site previously published an investigative report about the "Mission Impossible" star's supposed "elaborate auditioning process" to find a wife.
Four years later, it seems like "The Arrangement" picked up on the report and created an entire show about it.
According to the synopsis from Variety, the 10 hour-long episodes will revolve around young actress Megan Morrison (played Christine Evangelista) and her Cinderella-like story.
She reportedly "auditions for the female lead in a summer blockbuster to star opposite the hottest male action star, Kyle West (Josh Henderson)."
After passing the audition, however, Megan gets presented with a contract that would "change her life forever."
Deadline further noted that the show seems to draw inspiration from the supposed conspiracy surrounding Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' marriage.
As if to further connect the mini-series to the famous ex-couple, the report added that Kyle's mentor, Terrence (played by Michael Vartan) "runs a self-help organization called the Institute of the Higher Mind with his wife Deann (Lexa Doig)."
The talks were so widespread that the station had to issue a statement discrediting the connection.
"The character of Kyle West is not at all inspired by anyone in particular," the statement previously read. "Kyle is a young, rising star who was recently left at the altar by his actress ex-girlfriend."
Derived from Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' marriage or not, it's still unclear how the news will affect the premiere date for "The Arrangement."
Does the premise for "The Arrangement" sound like what the former couple's union was like?
Neither of the parties involved has commented about the news.
