Kesha News: Dr. Luke Blackmails Her Mom? Singer Set To Receive HRC Nashville’s Visibility Award

Pebe Sebert, Kesha's mother, broke her silence to rescue daughter from misery on her lengthy legal battle against her record label producer Dr. Luke, claiming that the producer attempted to blackmail her regarding her daughter's famous song "Timber."

On the other hand, Kesha's advocacy in empowering the LGBT community is said to be recognized through HRC Nashville's Visibility Award.

Recently, Kesha's mom revealed through her Twitter post how frustrated she is towards the popstar's producer. Serbert is accusing Dr. Luke of blackmailing her regarding the controversy of Kesha's song "Timber".

"Dr Luke is trying to blackmail me into taking my name off 'Timber' as a songwriter by blocking all 16 writers from being paid," Seber claimed on her Twitter account. Now, two years since 'Timber' was a hit , my punishment for telling the truth about him, is to be responsible for everyone not being paid! Or, I can just agree to have my name removed as a songwriter, so he will pay the other 15 writers!

Although Kesha is seen having a hard time with her conflict with Dr. Luke, a great news just arrived to uplift her spirits. The singer is set to receive an award from the 21st Annual HRC Nashville Equality Dinner on Saturday, March 5.

According to Out and About Nashville, she is set to receive the award due to her influence to LGBT community by using her international status. The HRC Nashville's Visibility Award is set to honor Kesha's perseverance in giving her commitment in helping the LGBT community to overcome their hurdles in the society.

Various reports say that it will take a long time for the singer to release new tracks and albums. Though Kesha's career is quite rocky as of the moment, fans still want her to recover and create good music once again.
