Jeremy Clarkson's New Show Not Confined To A Studio; Rumored To Broadcast From Different Countries

Last year, longtime "Top Gear" presenter Jeremy Clarkson was terminated by the BBC after he was involved in a physical altercation with one of the show's producers. Clarkson's co-hosts Richard Hammond and James May eventually also left the renowed motoring program. The former "Top Gear" presenters are now set to headline a new show under Amazon Prime.

The trio signed on to Amazon Prime after being refused by Netflix and ITV. According to Ecumenical News, Amazon is believed to have spent a total of £160 million to acquire the hosts.

"We love the people down at ITV, but we couldn't do it. Everyone we have talked to has told us: 'They leave you alone to make your own show.' That's a big one for us - we don't like interference, we don't need to be policed," said former "Top Gear" producer Andy Wilman, who will oversee the hosting team's new show.

In order to compete with the long-runnng BBC program, Clarkson and his co-hosts are finding ways to make their show unique. Recent reports state that Clarkson wants to host the show in different countries rather than being confined in a studio like his previous show.

A source told the Mirror, "What better way to showcase the show on a flexible viewing platform than by being flexible about its filming ... people will be able to view the show on the move, so why not make it on the move too?"

James May separate interview with This Morning has already proposed the new marketing strategy.

"I think the really interesting thing about it is, I think it's going to be very healthy having two big, essentially, international car programmes," May said. "The thing people don't realise is it's actually very good that we have a credible rival and the two can spur each other on."

Jeremy Clarkson's new show has no specific release date, although rumors are claiming that it will arrive this fall.
