Lauren Cohan Almost Did Not Make It To 'The Walking Dead' Season 6 Because Of This Scene
Lauren Cohan recently revealed one particular act in "The Walking Dead" horror television series, which almost provoked her to leave the show.
Cinema Blend reported Lauren's experience on the dark and gritty scene, where she almost thought of leaving the thriller television series.
Cohan said that she felt depressed and sad after reading the script for one of the season 3 episodes and immediately felt like leaving the show.
"I have to leave the show," said the actress as reported by Comic Book Resources. "I don't think I can do it."
Moreover, Lauren revealed that the detailed scene from season 3 of "The Walking Dead," where she had to perform a C-section on one of the show's characters, Lori, affected her profoundly in unimaginable ways.
"It affects you so deeply to the core to touch on, to dive into some of this material," expressed Cohan as reported by The Inquisitr. "And then I realized that's why I have to do it."
Also, the scene was emotionally challenging for Lauren as Lori died immediately after the C-section and Carl had to shoot her corpse to make sure that Lori doesn't come back as a walker.
IDigital Times even reported that after Lauren shot the scene, she left the show's set feeling heavy at heart and almost ready to quit "The Walking Dead" series.
Meanwhile, the horror-thriller show will soon air its second-half episodes of season 6, where Lauren's character will be shown pregnant with Glenn's baby.
Additionally, the upcoming episodes are rumored to showcase a new comics villain named, Negan. The speculations also suggest that Negan will kill one of the important characters in the second-half of season 6.
The next episode of the "The Walking Dead" season 6 is set to be aired on Feb. 14, 2016 on AMC network.
