‘Sherlock’ Season 4 Spoilers: 3rd Holmes Joining As It Returns In 2017? More Rumors Shared!

As "Sherlock" season 4 arrives in 2017, several spoilers shared that a third Holmes is expected to join the entire cast.

Cross Map claimed that a certain line uttered by Mycroft in season 3 hinted that another member of the family exists, which allegedly will be played by Tom Hiddleston. 

The outlet pointed out that "when Mycroft was discussing with some politicians about the punishment to be served for Sherlock" in the previous season, he mentioned something that should have caught the fans' attention.

"And do you remember his line when they doubted that Mycroft might be biased because Sherlock is his brother?" the site noted. "Mycroft said, 'You know what happened with the other one.'"

This, according to Cross Map's "Sherlock" season 4 spoilers, must have been ignored by some even if it was emphasized that it was "probably too cryptic, however it simply meant there's another one in the Holmes family, a brother or a sister of Sherlock and Mycroft."

Apparently, BBC, as well as the show's team, still need to comment if this is indeed happening during its release date during the early part of next year.

On the other hand, Bustle reported that the upcoming season's will tackle and revolve around "consequences," as it was predicted to be "dark in some ways."

Moreover, it was learned that its plot will highlight "The Red-Headed League," as revealed by Mark Gatiss in his Twitter account in February last year.

"We Gingers must stick together...#Sherlock," he tweeted on Feb. 3, along with a snap of Jabez Wilson's pawnshop.

"And considering that the character Jabez Wilson is introduced in Arthur Conan Doyle's story of 'The Red-Headed League,' I'd say that's a pretty big hint that it'll be the main focus of the season," it concluded.
