‘The Division’ Beta: Ubisoft Confirms Access No longer Guaranteed Due To High Demand

Ubisoft confirmed on its recent blogpost that access on "The Division" beta is no longer guaranteed due to a high demand on players' request to enter the beta test.

The game developer is set to send out another beta keys for players who are yet to receive one. Players may expect the keys via their emails by tomorrow, Games Radar reported.

Meanwhile "The Division" players on the waiting list, who have not pre-ordered the game yet, were informed that as much as the Ubisoft wanted to add more players in the beta test, "space will be severely limited for the rest of the beta testing phase," according to Ubisoft .

"The Division" beta is now live on all platforms following the closed beta on Xbox One and will end on Jan. 31.

However, players on Steam reportedly had troubles signing in the game as acknowledged by Ubisoft on "The Division" forums.

As of this writing, the issue has been fixed as an update has been released by the game developer.

"The Division's" full version will be released on March for the Xbox One, PC and PS4.

Ahead of the official launch, Ubisoft already confirmed that three upcoming expansion packs and free updates will be dispatched throughout the year.

According to Gamespot, the first extension pack will bring players to a new area in the outskirts of the underworld of New York City that can be played by up to four players.

Next will be a survival mode inspired extension as players will be challenged in the most hostile environment. On the other hand, details on the third are yet to be announced.

As for the free updates, it is said that it will include multiplayer mode, "which groups of players work together to win unique rewards," Gamespot reported.

Speculations also claim that Brooklyn map will be added as an extension content.
