'How To Get Away With Murder' Season 2 Return Spoilers: Annalise Becomes A Different Person?
Annalise Keating, played by Viola Davis, has done some ridiculous things and after the events in "How to Get Away with Murder" season 2 mid-season finale, spoilers claim she may return as a different person.
Miss Keating have crossed the line through the revelations she made to Wes Gibbins in the very last episode of the ABC thriller. To cover up a murder, she asked her students to shoot him. When she pressed Wes to pull the trigger, she was forced to reveal that she knows his girlfriend Rebecca is already dead.
A shocked Wes was devastated and he fired the gun. Unfortunately, she was hit on the body part she did not intend to be the target.
When "How to Get Away with Murder" season 2 returns, spoilers reveal that fans will see an Annalise Keating who opposite of who she has been - weak, helpless, and traumatized.
"We left her bleeding out on the floor - and when we come back, she's really broken," series creator Peter Nowalk told TVLine.
"It was really important to Viola and to me to play the reality of that - of a person who's gone through a major life trauma. We're going to see a whole different side of her."
Aside from the lie about Rebecca, Annalise also revealed something about Wes's childhood.
In the intense "How to Get Away with Murder" season 2 second half-promo trailer, a baby was featured along with Annalise. According to Nowalk, the baby is an important element of the remaining episodes.
"It's a really big part of our premiere," he said when asked for more "How to Get Away with Murder" season 2 spoilers.
"It's an extremely emotional idea that Viola had pitched at the beginning of the season. We've set up a lot of mysteries about how Annalise knows Wes, what their past is, why she feels so maternal toward him."
"All of that will be elaborated on in our back six episodes, and the baby is really important. It's a great insight into Annalise. I'm really proud of it - and I'm hoping she will, too - because it was such a collaboration," he said.
"How to Get Away with Murder" season 2 returns on Feb. 11 with an episode entitled "What Happened to You, Annalise?"
