'The View's' Raven Symone Speaks Up About Bill Cosby's Case; Draws Mixed Reactions!
"The View" host Raven Symone finally spoke about her opinion regarding Bill Cosby's case.
The former Disney star, who was part of the "Cosby Show," said in the latest episode of "The View" that she needs to air her opinion now that there are real facts on the issue, The Hollywood Reporter said.
"I don't really like to talk about [the Bill Cosby scandal] that much because he's the reason I'm on this panel in the first place," "The View" host Raven Symone said. "He gave me my first job. But at the same time you need the proof, and then I'll be able to give my judgment here or there. And now there are real facts."
Last November, "The View" host Raven Symone tried to veer away from the scandal involving her former boss. Bill Cosby was charged with sexual assaults that happened 11.5 years ago, which still covers Pennsylvania's 12-year statute of limitation.
She clarified that she did not receive any sexual harassment from Bill Cosby saying, "Everyone on that show treated me with nothing but kindness. Now keep me out of this!"
Meanwhile, "The View" host Whoopi Goldberg also take on Bill Cosby's side, saying that he is still innocent of the case, a report from People magazine told.
"He has not yet been proven a rapist," the host said. "In America, still - I know, it's a shock - you are innocent until proven guilty."
From the last episode, the comedienne has initially sided on Bill Cosby, saying that they should hear his side.
"Look, I'm glad it's happening. I sorta feel like, whenever you have people saying, 'This is what happened, this is what happened, this is what happened,' I want the court. I want to hear it. I want everybody to be able to ask the questions. We've heard a lot, but we have not heard anything from his side."
On Monday, 77-year-old Bill Cosby admitted in 2005 court papers that he gave woman Quaaludes before they had sex.
Bill Cosby's lawyer Marty Singer had already said that his accusers came out of nowhere and that what they are saying are "utter nonsense."
