Microsoft finally revealed the free games for Xbox Live games with gold program for the month of February.

As per the Redmond tech giant's announcement, "Hand of Fate" was tipped to be included for February's lineup. It leads the pack of free games for the Xbox One console. With that being said, it will be free throughout next month.

The said RPG game has "one of the most unique game designs," as players take on various tasks on the game from combining deck-building of tarot cards and go through the choose-your-own-adventure and role-playing elements, according to Microsoft.

In addition, "Styx: Master Shadows" is another free title for the Xbox One console starting Feb. 15 until March 15.

The game, on the other hand, is more compelling than "Hand of Fate" as it delivers a different gameplay approach that follows a traditional role playing.

Additionally, some titles from this month's lineup will continue as a free tittle this coming February wherein Xbox One owners get a total of three games. The Indie 3D fighting game "Zheros" is still free for Xbox Live with gold members until Feb. 15.

As for the Xbox 360 consoles, another two titles were announced. However, the games will be offered for a shorter period of time, Lazy Gamer added.

First on the list is "Sacred Citadel" with suggested retail price of $9.99 and which will be free on Feb. 1 until Feb. 15. It will be replaced by "Gears of War 2" on the second half of the month.

The said free games are exclusive to players with active Xbox Live with gold subscription only.

Meanwhile, users in UK, US, Canada, France and Germany will get a hold of "The Witcher 2" for free, and it does not require an Xbox Live membership.

The aforementioned title was also added to backwards compatibility games list, which means previous owners of the game on Xbox 360 may play it on the Xbox One console for free along with games with gold free games, Videogamer reported.
