Ziva’s Return In ‘NCIS’ Season 13 Inevitable? Cote De Pablo To Be Back Prior Weatherly’s Exit?
The return of Ziva, the character which Cote de Pablo used to portray, in "NCIS" season 13 is unstoppable, a recent report claimed.
According to Carter Matt, the inclusion of the 36-year-old actress in the list of final cast members before another well-loved character, Tony DiNozzo, finally exits from the ABC series must be seriously considered.
"If you've read some of what we've had to say on the subject of Michael Weatherly's impending exit on "NCIS" over the past couple of weeks, then you know already what our stance on a potential Cote de Pablo return is: It really should happen," the outlet shared.
The site went on to expound by saying, "That doesn't mean it will, but there should be some payoff to a storyline that was a huge part of the Tony DiNozzo's character arc over the years."
Being someone who surely had an important role in developing the television series' plot, Cote de Pablo's Ziva really needs to make a comeback soon in "NCIS" season 13.
"She has to be up there on the list with Robert Wagner of people we really have to see again to give the guy proper closure," Carter Matt pointed out.
While a lot of her fans and the show's followers would love to see TiVa reunite, it was noted that "The biggest thing that needs to be worked out more than anything else is merely figuring out the story to bring her back, and then also making it work in regards to the timing."
In the meantime, Entertainment Tonight reported that the 47-year-old actor, who has been part of "NCIS" since 2003, made the revelation about his exit via his Twitter account on Jan. 5, which left many in shock.
Michael Weatherly, who was the love interest of Cote de Pablo's Ziva in "NCIS," in the episodes prior to season 13, described his journey with the series as "fantastic ride."
