Recent MacBook Pro 2016 rumors claimed that the upgraded version of Apple's laptop may include the Touch ID.

Airing its opinion over the anticipated upgrades, 9TO5 Mac pointed out that the next set of enhancements to the product must already have this Apple signature feature already.

"There's another piece of technology Apple has had for a while now but not yet added to the Mac: Touch ID," the article commented. "With many of us used to logging in to our iPhone and iPad with our fingerprint, it feels rather clunky to have to type a password when we login to our Macs."

Furthermore, the report claimed that for the MacBook Pro 2016, "Apple could take a Continuity-style approach and allow us to use Touch ID on our iPhone to login to our Macs" especially that some third-party apps have already made this possible. Thus, there is no reason for the company not being able to come up with it.

With such feature, the article continued by citing one major benefit that it can actually provide its users: "a far more convenient way to access the secure Notes facility introduced in OS X 10.11.4, and to add Apple Pay as a payment option on the apple.com website."

In the meantime, amid the several rumors about the specs for the upgraded MacBook Pro in 2016, Apple Insider revealed that the tech giant will surely rake in higher sales this year.

According to Kuo of KGI Securities, the new line-up of MacBook "could lead the way for Apple in terms of growth this year" and that a "solid growth" is bound to happen with the anticipated release date of the upgrades in June.

However, apart from disclosing about the arrival of possible upgrades during the first half of this year, Kuo did not give out more details on MacBook Pro 2016 specs anymore, particularly those related to the rumors that already came out.
