'Star Wars' VIII: Hayden Christensen's Darth Vader To Be Removed In The Rewrites?
Not long after the news about the "Star Wars" 8 rewrites first sparked following a massive success of the "Force Awakens" movie, there have been talks about certain characters to be possibly removed in the next episode - including Darth Vader, played by Hayden Christensen.
Though the speculations have not been confirmed yet, it didn't sit well to the Darth Vader fans who were bothered about the rumors claiming that Hayden Christensen may not come back in the next "Star Wars" episode.
While it may still take more than a year of waiting time for its official release date, the eighth "Star Wars" instalment has since become a hot topic in the social media with several discussions as to who among characters will be scrapped out and who will return in the next episode.
As previously reported, Hayden Christensen's Darth Vader, also known as Anakin Skywalker, was speculated to appear in the "Star Wars" 8 as his good Jedi character.
While it may bring another hope for the Darth Vader fans, the latest news claimed that things may turn out the other way around for Hayden Christensen's character.
According to Cinemablend, the final plot for the upcoming "Star Wars" 8 is not finished yet and there's definitely a big possibility for the storyline to be re-written or some characters to be removed to arrange new highlights for the new franchise.
"While production was meant to get underway very soon, it looks like things may be slightly delayed as the script may be getting one final rewrite before it's screen ready," said one report.
It went on saying, "The purpose of the rewrite, interestingly, is reportedly to reduce two new character roles to be a smaller part of 'Star Wars: Episode 8'.
As to whether or not Hayden Christensen's Darth Vader will appear in the new chapter, it still remains a hanging question. However, fans are certain that if the character won't be in episode 8, it surely will appear in the succeeding "Star Wars" instalments.
