It has been reported in the news today that hip-hop singer Macklemore and Ryan Lewis just released a new song today and Miley Cyrus is mentioned somewhere in the lyrics - and not in a good way. The song, by the way, is far-fetching commentary on race, intersectionality, abusive police power-tripping and cultural appropriation, according to The Advocate.

References on white artists borrowing from African-American culture were noted to be obvious on the second verse of the song: "You've exploited and stolen the music, the moment, the magic, the passion, the fashion, you toy with. The culture was never yours to make better."

"You're Miley, you're Elvis, you're Iggy Azalea, fake and so plastic," the song continued with Cyrus mentioned ahead of the King of Rock and Roll. "You've heisted the magic. You've taken the drums and the accent you rapped in. You're branded hip-hop, it's so fascist and backwards. That Grandmaster Flash'd go slap it, you bastard. All the money that you made. All the watered-down, pop-bullshit version of the culture, pal."

It is not news anymore if Miley Cyrus will be accused today of cultural appropriation as she has been in the same scenario before. During the 2015 MTV video Music Awards, Billy Ray's daughter hosted the event while sporting blonde dreadlocks which made her a target of criticism as well as for making snarky remarks toward fellow singer Nicki Minaj during the ceremonies.

In other news today, Miley Cyrus' collaboration with Kanye West has leaked three days ago. The remix version of West's "Black Skinhead" features Cyrus and a mash-up of the "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" by Tears for Fears. According to Elite Daily, the said collaboration and remix was made three years ago and wasn't heard of until three days ago when it was leaked. The West-Cyrus collaboration track also features Lupe Fiasco and Travis Scott.
