The Apple Hermes Watch Is Now Available Online! What Does The Critics Say About It?

Fans of luxury lines and technology will be glad to know that the Apple Hermes Watch is now available online for avid shoppers. The collection can be accessed online on both Apple.com and Hermes since Friday.

The said watches could only be found in a select stores all across the country since its released last October, according to USA Today. Be ready for the price, however, as this gadget/accessory doesn't come cheap at all.

The Apple Hermes watches are almost double the price of the more common Apple Watch Sport. The classic "Single Tour" variety of the Hermes watch comes with a leather strap costs around $1,100. The "Double Tour" design comes with an extra-long band that circulates twice around the wrist can be yours for $1,250. Lastly, the "Cuff," which appears to have an intricate design and is inspired by "equestrian fixtures, is the most expensive among the designs - for $1,500.

Features include a customizable watch-face with three typefaces, a stopwatch, three numeral displays, date and world clock. This watch can be personalized by users according to their style and mood, according to Telegraph.

The Telegraph, noted by 9 to 5 Mac, described the new set of watches from the tech company as a "smart and distinguished collaboration." The newspaper also added that it is a "welcome nod towards the importance of craftsmanship and artisan techniques is yet another way Apple has separated its wearable offering from the pack." Telegraph also noted that the watches are "considerable step in the right direction," even though that the designs are not really going to be appealing to a number of "horological devotees."

Wired, on the other hand, are thinking ahead; if the Apple Hermes watches are "ultra fancy," the next variety could be a "diamond-encrusted watch or a super-luxe rose gold variety." The magazine also added that the luxurious Parisian brand elevated that Apple watch's aesthetic or lack thereof.
