The upcoming season 2 of "One Punch Man" is expected to tackle Saitama's battle against a new villain as it comes back either in November or December, recent spoilers claimed.

In its report, the Cross Map revealed that in the first episode of the series, a discovery of a Class A Rank 1 hero turning into a rival would take place.

The outlet shared that "a new villain shall arise in the form of Amai Mask," whose story has been likened to that of Darth Vader because of the fact that he started as a good man but eventually developed into the bad guy that the show's superhero needs to defeat in "One Punch Man" season 2.

According to the report, "The main reason for his defiance is because he blames Class S heroes for the destruction of the city."

In the meantime, the outlet pointed out that despite the plot still being under wraps, "it is obvious that a fight between Saitama and Amai Mask is bound to happen."

On the other hand, Design & Trend reported that the first full episode of the anime's two OVAs has already been released online.

Based on the report, "The first one is 12 minutes long, and it is called 'A Shadow That Snuck Up Too Close.'"

The report noted that "The episode's comedy is classic 'One-Punch Man' material, and there is even a scene where Saitama wonders if a waitress at a restaurant had eaten one of his fries."

Moreover, the article added that "Genos had stolen the sole fry as a sample for his investigation."

It can be recalled that in mid-December, "One Punch Man" artist Murata Yusuke tweeted about how much effort he will be putting for the second season, as divulged by Otakukart.

"I will work hard to so that it will get a second season," he posted on Twitter.
