The source noted in an interview with Genesis Rodriguez, who voiced the character Honey Lemon in "Big Hero 6," that there is something happening in terms of a sequel.
"There are rumblings of something else happening," the voice actor said in the interview. "I mean yesterday I just that it is the third most grossing Disney animated feature, so this is huge for them.

In fact, Science Fiction reported that Stan Lee even teased about the idea of making a sequel for "Big Hero 6" saying that after finishing a few other projects, they would be working with the film as well.
"After 'Ant-Man,' we're going to start playing around with 'Doctor Strange,' 'The Black Panther,' 'The Inhumans,' and then we have to come back for 'Guardians of the Galaxy 2,' 'Big Hero 6,' 'The Avengers,' 'Captain America,'" Lee said.
"I don't even know how they decide what to do next, because every one of them is so exciting and the public is waiting for them."
