Without Ziva David (portrayed by Cote de Pablo) and Toni DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly), will "NCIS" season 13 survive?

This might be the question that is running in the minds of the series' fans these days considering that several spoilers and reports have already confirmed that the 47-year-old actor is finally saying goodbye after almost 13 years of being a part of it.

As TV Line would put it, "could 'NCIS' go on?"

"While Michael Weatherly leaving NCIS might not spell the immediate end of the series, I think that it is safe to say that NCIS will never be the same," the report claimed, while adding that "it will be incredibly tough to create a character that with gel with the other team members and resonate with viewers at home."

Minus Cote de Pablo's Ziva and Weatherly's Tony in "NCIS" season 13, there would be no hope anymore for everyone to see Tiva's "complex relationship."

Thus, the outlet pointed out that "This leaves the show with nearly no romantic heat, aside from McGee and Delilah. That is a definite issue that needs to be fixed."

As a "special character" in the series, the former "The Cosby Show" actor's exit will reportedly give its writers a headache especially that "finding someone to fill Tony's shoes will be impossible."

In the meantime, CarterMatt's spoilers revealed that those who have been rooting for the return of Cote de Pablo's Ziva in "NCIS" season 13 might get disappointed.

"We hate to be the ones to throw some cold water on hopes to see Cote de Pablo again on 'NCIS' before Michael Weatherly's departure, but it is not looking particularly great at the moment," the site stated.

Despite CBS programming head Glenn Geller's statement to TV Line that Cote de Pablo Ziva is not coming back in "NCIS" season 13, CarterMatt emphasized that "It only seems right to at least give Cote a small cameo (if not more) for Weatherly's final episode, given the history of Tony and Ziva."
