On Sept. 12, HBO docu-series by Therapy Content "Foo Fighters: Sonic Highways" received two awards out of four nominations, including Outstanding Sound Mixing For Nonfiction Programming, which Korean-American audio artist Eddie Kim and his colleagues worked hard for, reported Korea Times on Tuesday.

Kim graduated from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and started working at Therapy Studio. After being called on stage for the award, Kim dedicated his award to his father, who recently passed away in 2014.

Shoot Online reported on Sept. 17 that the series "Foo Fighters: Sonic Highways" follows Foo Fighters' journey through eight renowned studios in America. Its executive producers included David Grohl, John Ramsay and James Rota and produced by Therapy Content and Roswell Films for HBO.

Loudwire noted on Sept. 13 that along with the award that Eddie Kim received, the series also won Outstanding Sound Editing for Nonfiction Programming, which was awarded to sound editor Justin Lebans. Two of their other nominations include Outstanding Informational Series and Outstanding Directing, which they lost to "Anothony Bourdain: Parts Unknown."

Eddie Kim worked through top national advertising campaigns at 740 Designs for seven years before working at Content Therapy. He also shared his craft in many films, music videos, documentaries and video games.

"We're insanely excited about Eddie joining Therapy!," said Therapy Content Producer Joe DiSanto when Kim first joined the company. "Eddie's work speaks for itself, and combining his talents with those of our editors and other artists, makes Therapy an incredibly strong company.  The whole team is ecstatic."

To which Kim said, "Therapy has the right vision of how the industry is changing." He added, "I'm excited to be a part of their evolving business model and to have the opportunity to work on a wide range of creative projects."
