"Game Of Thrones" actress Natalie Dormer opened up about her character in "The Tudors," a role she played that required her to go nude.

Per a report from Evening Standard, the 32-year-old star was not completely aware of her role in the TV series when she took the part. Reportedly, Natalie Dormer did not have a job when the opportunity came in.

"When I started my career, I was grateful to get the job. People would say, 'The Tudors was so hyper-sexualised, why on earth would you make that decision?'" said the actress, as reported by Irish Examiner.

"Well, I made the decision because I was unemployed. I didn't know what The Tudors was going to be, I didn't have all 10 scripts; I'd just got a job, for f***'s sake," she added.

Natalie Dormer became well-known for playing Anne Boleyn in "The Tudors." The said role eventually helped her bag the strong female character, Cressida, in "The Hunger Games." She also went on to star as the renowned Margaery Tyrell in the "Game of Thrones."

Of the three roles, her character Anne Boleyn, which she played opposite Jonathan Rhys Meyers' Henry VIII, demanded her to expose a lot of skin quite often.

But the "Game of Thrones" star has no problem with nudity as Natalie Dormer noted that sex is a part of life.

The actress also talked about the increasing male nudity and noted that the industry is turning out to be female friendly in the recent days.

"There's plenty of male nudity in Game of Thrones, too. Sex is part of life, ergo it's part of art. If you're representing real life, then you will represent sex," the actress said, according to Celebuzz.

"The money men now know that it's not going to damage their revenue to have a fully fleshed-out, three-dimensional female in the lead," she added.
