Despite the hype not being as accurate as Radiohead fans would want it to be regarding the band's new album coming out in 2016, the hype is still there and music aficionados can't deny the fact that they are all excited about it.

Recently, there has been an immense excitement when rumors and speculations were suddenly spreading around the internet claiming that the iconic alternative rock band Radiohead has finally finished their new album and that they will actually have a tour this 2016.

These speculations all sprung from an interview that guitarist Johnny Greenwood did with Russia's Silver Radio where it mistranslated his statement regarding the band's upcoming plans for 2016 about a new album and a tour saying that they are actually finished with the latest record.

"We have finished recording the new album but we keep reevaluating the work we've done," the Russian broadcaster wrongly interpreted Greenwood's statement as reported by Consequence of Sound. "We hope we'll get it right soon, and after that, we'll start planning the next year's tour."

However, frontman Thom York and Radiohead guitarist Johnny Greenwood took things to their own hands to clarify the mistranslation over at Twitter, as claimed by the Gigwise.

"No IT ain't finished take responsibility for your writing and check your facts occasionally .. alright Jonny? @JnnyG," Thom Yorke addressed @coslive as posted on his Twitter account.

This, in turn, prompted Johnny Greenwood to reply to his fellow bandmate to affirm the issue.

"Yes....some over enthusiastic translation from these Chicagoan types," the guitarist wrote over at Twitter.

Greenwood also tweeted the radio station that misinterpreted his statement.

"Nice mistranslation going on....what I actually said: lots have been recorded, and we're about to go through it all..." he added.

"To see if it's any good. And we HOPE to tour next year: no plans confirmed yet. Sorry for the over enthusiastic translator...."
