'Better Call Saul' Season 2 news

"Better Call Saul" returns to television for Season 2 in less than a month. AMC has released a trailer for the follow-up season, and it seems that a few of the "Breaking Bad" guys are making an appearance in the spinoff series.

As seen in the trailer, "Better Call Saul" Season 2 will be all about Jimmy McGill's (Bob Odenkirk) transformation into the sleazy criminal lawyer we all know from "Breaking Bad."

The opening scene sees Jimmy walking into his office at the back of a beauty salon. He then tears a piece of paper that reads, "Jimmy McGill Esq., A Law Corporation," hinting that he's dropping the Mr. Nice Guy act following the betrayal of his only brother Chuck (Michael McKean) in the finale of Season 1.

"I've been doing the right thing for all these years now, and where has it gotten me? Nowhere," Jimmy said to love interest Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn).

It's also evident that Goodman and "Breaking Bad's" Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks) will have a working relationship in Season 2. In the trailer, Ehrmantraut brings Goodman along in one of his jobs which involves a money exchange with the cousin of "Breaking Bad" alum Tuco Salamanca (Raymond Cruz). Naturally, it is speculated that Tuco will eventually make an appearance in one of the episodes.

Ecumenical News claims that Season 2 will also explore Jimmy's relationship with Kim. According to the publication, Jimmy and Kim "are used to wearing masks but when they're together, they can take off those masks and let loose."

"The more we learn more about Jimmy McGill, the more we like him and the more we dread him eventually turning into Saul Goodman," series co-creator and executive producer Vince Gilligan said in the trailer's commentary.

The show returns to AMC on Feb. 15, 2016 at 10 p.m. ET.
