Jimmy Fallon and his wife, Nancy Juvonen, have been together for so long, it seems such a waste that they would be filing for a divorce. But that is exactly what unconfirmed reports are saying.

For months now, Jimmy Fallon and Nancy Juvonen have been the subject of gossip websites alleging that the couple is heading for a divorce due to the "Tonight Show" host's alleged drinking problem.

This caught the attention of NBC executives, prompting them to defend Jimmy Fallon in light of the said rumors.

"(Jimmy) doesn't have a drinking problem that any of us know about," said NBC entertainment Chairman, Bob Greenblatt. "He goes out and has fun and he's had some accidents."

Days after this statement, however, Jimmy Fallon was spotted out in New York, all by himself. Fallon and wife Nancy Juvonen have not been photographed together for quite some time now, which leads fans to the question: Are they really getting divorced?

In July 2015, Jimmy Fallon suffered a severe finger injury, which almost forced doctors to amputate his ring finger. Although Fallon cited his wife's kitchen rug as the culprit, some reports say it was actually due to a drunken night out in New York.

"While the late night host blamed his gruesome injury on his two left feet. He was actually two sheets to the wind after night on the town with two young women," Celeb Dirty Laundry alleged of Jimmy Fallon's injury, adding that his wife Nancy Juvonen was "fed up" with the late night show host's alcohol problem.

To fuel the gossip fire, Jimmy Fallon suffered two more injuries after that -he chipped his front tooth, trying to open a jar of ointment and suffered cuts after falling on a broken bottle of alcohol at a Harvard event.

The "Tonight Show" host has not commented on the issue yet, although NBC execs assured fans that he will be around for a long time, despite the divorce and alcoholism rumors.
