'Diablo 3' Update: Patch 2.4.0 And Xbox One Disappoint Gamers; Blizzard Still Investigating 2.4.0 Issues
The new updates Patch 2.4.0 and Xbox One of the hit action role-playing video game "Diablo 3" were among the most-highly anticipated video game updates of the year.
However, it seems like things didn't turn out the way the gamers have expected after reports came out that claimed patch 2.4.0 is currently having issues that need to be resolved as soon as possible.
As noted by Game Spot, a player has allegedly opened up a thread in the Battle.net forums, wherein he posted all the issues he came across when he upgraded "Diablo 3" for its new updates.
Reports claimed that the gamer had issues with the game's micro-stuttering, frame drop and lag problems while playing.
After raising his concerns about the new "Diablo 3" update in the forum, several players agreed and confirmed that those were issues they were also experiencing after updating the game.
The forum was then followed with various complaints, making Blizzard to immediately take action and find solutions to the problem.
"We've been unable to reproduce this internally so far, so let's see if we can find a pattern and identify what's going on," community manager Andrew Kauz wrote in the forum, asking more help on how to identify the bugs and help the developers quickly fix the issues.
In the forum, Kauz had asked several questions about the platform, skills uses, region and particular details about the performance issues after it went through the new updates of "Diablo 3."
Aside from Kauz, Digital Foundry, a team that usually checks both the hardware and software of game, shared a video showcasing some of the issues which are found in the game.
While it has been pointed out that issues first started after the release of patch 2.4.0, there might be several additions to the problems once the bugs are all fixed.
A new feature of the new "Diablo 3" patch update includes an additional inventory space, while the game also comes into view for Playstation 4, PC, and Xbox One.
