In other news, Kanye is reportedly set to record another album dedicated to the recently diseased David Bowie. After the news came out, fans expressed their negative reactions so much so that a petition was even made to make the rapper stop his alleged move.
According to the statement written in the petition, Bowie is the most important musician and with Kanye having plans to cover his songs would a sacrilege.
"David Bowie was one of the single most important musicians of the 20th and 21st century, it would be a sacrilege to let it be ruined by Kanye West," the statement read, as cited by Daily Mail.
The news initially came out after, an insider allegedly released a statement to Daily Star spilling details about the alleged album in the works.
'Some are straightforward cover versions with Kanye actually singing," the insider said. "On others he is rapping with his own lyrics over Bowie's music."
"He is determined to carry on David's work as a musical innovator," the insider added. "He says that the torch has been passed to him."
A new song for 2016 about David Bowie has yet to be released by Kanye West.
