The relationship between Charlie Hunnam and his long-time girlfriend, Morgana McNelis, is still very strong amid the split rumors prompted by the fact that the couple is rarely seen together in public.

Morgana McNelis, who rarely grants interviews, recently talked about the secret on keeping her relationship with Charlie Hunnam healthy,

"I think the key to maintaining a good balance is creating a safe space within the relationship for both partners in which to grow and evolve," she told Taylor Magazine. "It's very important to be present and participate in each other's experiences so that falling in love doesn't happen just once, it continues to happen over and over."

On the other hand, Charlie Hunnam also likes to maintain his privacy when it comes to girlfriend Morgana McNelis.

Since the duo had been dating for eight years now, the "King Arthur" star was allegedly ready to propose to his girlfriend.

"Hunnam may have hands full of movie projects and deals, but it also looks like he's also looking to start his own family soon," a report from Youth Health Magazine alleged.

Morgana McNelis is a jewelry designer and has her own shop called Maison de Morgana.

But Charlie Hunnam wants to keep a low-profile with girlfriend Morgana McNelis.

"I don't go to parties - I don't shuck (sic) and jive it up with the Hollywood crowd," the "Sons of Anarcy" star told 7 Nights magazine. "None of that crap interests me at all, and actually, my girlfriend and I just bought a ranch, so we are getting out of Hollywood completely. It's in California. We've got 30 chickens and a couple of donkeys, a couple of ducks and we've got a big, organic garden. We are going to try to live a bit more sustainably."

"Sons of Anarchy" star Charlie Hunnam and girlfriend Morgana McNelis first started dating in 2007.
