'Full Metal Panic!' Season 4 Release Date Happening In 2016? To Feature A New Villain?

The latest speculations tease that the release date for "Full Mental Panic!" season 4 will be announced sometime soon in 2016.

Publisher of the anime series, Fujimi Shobo, recently revealed that the season 4 of is in progress and the release date would be announced soon, Anime News Network reported.

Further, Fujimi also said that the new season would be adapted from the light novel series written by Shoji Gatoh and Shikidouji.

"Something is moving along," Shobo replied to a Twitter fan who asked about the new season as quoted by Crunchy Roll News. "Please look forward to it."

Also, Realty Today claimed that there will be a new villain to be featured in the upcoming season 4 of "Full Mental Panic!" Some speculations suggest that the new season will also disclose the identity of the antagonist and Kaname's enemy.

Moving on, it is also rumored that the new season will feature Sousuke's combat with the terrorist organization, Amalgam. Speculations are that Sousuke will be aided by the mercenary group, Mithril, where he used to work earlier, in order to take on the antagonists.

Moreover, the speculations suggest that the new season of "Full Mental Panic!" will also reveal the former connection between Sousuke and someone from the terrorist association with whom will be shown fighting against.

Apparently, season 4 could also be covering the Sigma manga series, which is based on the concluding part of the light novel series titled, "Always, Stand By Me."

Noting that the upcoming season will revolve around dark and shady storyline while focusing more on Kaname and Sousuke's relationship. 

Publisher, Fujimi Shobo, made the release date announcement last year during the Thanksgiving event in October 2015.
