Tom Cruise Furious At Brooke Shields For Dishing Out On Scientology And Their Former Feud?

Tom Cruise and Scientology may once again be under fire after Brooke Shields opened up about her former feud with the "Top Gun" actor.

It could be recounted that Tom Cruise criticized Brooke Shields for using anti-depressants when she had post-partum depression. This purportedly rooted from Scientology's opposition against using "mind-altering drugs."

"These drugs are dangerous. I have actually helped people come off," Tom Cruise told Access Hollywood back in 2005, as quoted by People. "When you talk about postpartum, you can take people today, women, and what you do is you use vitamins."

"There is a hormonal thing that is going on, scientifically, you can prove that," the actor added. "But when you talk about emotional, chemical imbalances in people, there is no science behind that. You can use vitamins to help a woman through those things."

Speaking to Jenny McCarthy's SiriusXM show, Brooke Shields said that the feud has long ended.

"Life is too short," Shields said, as quoted by Us Magazine. "I'm sure there are people that have strong, negative opinions about me, but I don't have the time."

Brooke Shields dished out on how Tom Cruise apologized to her after dissing her because of Scientology's opinion about her post-partum depression treatment.

"He came over to my house. It was funny because when he called me, he said, 'I'd like to have a sit-down and a talk with you,'" Brooke Shields recalled. "I called my publicist, and I said, 'OK, what do I do?' She said, 'Whatever you do, don't go over there. Just make them come to you, and it's on your terms. You don't have cameras, you don't know,'"

"So he came over to the house and didn't come with anybody, drove himself, there wasn't anybody outside," the actress added.

It may be unlikely that Shield's recent interview has infuriated Cruise. The actress did not slam the actor for their past feud, though there are speculations as to whether she really has no beef with her ex.

"Do you think that Brooke Shields really forgave Tom Cruise, or do you think she still believes he is a jerk?" Inquisitr speculated.

Tom Cruise has recently been the center of attention because of Leah Remini's tell-all book about Scientology.
